Anderson is a better option than Cam right now

This is what I don't understand...

How could anyone take anything we're saying as "crapping" on Cam? If anything, If's read alot of posters so afraid by the RBs and OL ineptitude that they really fear we could lose the future of the franchise, especially since he's not as mobile as usual because of injuries.

I haven't read one comment that said DA is better than Cam and should start ahead of him.

Let's say Cam sits for 2 weeks and comes back to a 2-4 team (worse case scenario) fully healthy. Able to extend plays and drives with his legs, as well as carving defenses apart with his arm. I'd take that scenario instead of a noticeably slower Cam taking a beating every week because he can't escape pressure and still at 2-4; never able to get healthy because of the beating he takes every single game.

That is also a fact that is not being talk about.

2 weeks won't help Cam's injuries. The fact is he needs a off-season of rest to fully heal.

He won't be a 100% without a off-season of rest. They've already admitted that he will never be 100% this season.

If you shut him down it's for the rest of the season not a few games.

there is no reasoning with it.  there are some folks on here that read into things what they wish.  even go as far as to conclude things about random strangers based on their usernames.

Ok. Now we're getting somewhere. I don't think anyone is advocating sitting him for the season or putting him on IR. That would definitely be throwing in the season.

100% is overrated. He doesn't need to be 100%. But he does need to be able to move alot better than he is right now. He's not able to move well enough to protect himself from this oline. And he he's not gonna get better while getting beat up every single game.

I see the point for letting him play. But to say sitting him for a few games to allow his body to heal is a ridiculous notion, is well... ridiculous.

I understand the word IF just fine.

He's not going to sit, get over it.

there was a whole lot more than that. Don't be so snippy it's not like either side of this discussion has any real say in what happens, but the  fact is that In the current state of health Cam is more, much more, susceptible to longterm injury. The possibilities are there all the time. the probability is high right now. Now if he is healing fast enough and can continue to play that is fine but if playing doesn't allow him to heal it is only a matter of time before he gets hit the wrong way.

yes he is obviously ambulatory everyone who watched the game saw it.

I am almost positive that you are the ONLY one on the planet that thinks Cam is ambulatory.

Please google ambulatory. Then say Cam is that bad. Just stop, please.

Also, I am asking nicely, will you stop quoting me? I really do not want to continue this.

He isn't going to be fully healthy all season. Sitting him a few games isn't helping his injuries he has now. Unless you're sitting him for the year it's worthless to sit him 2 games. And the message that sends to the locker room isn't good either.

TD is more susceptible to a 4th ACL tear and not walking without pain for the rest of his life.

How can Cam have his respect if he sits?

then I am the only one who is correct, but I doubt I am the only one. I saw him walking multiple times during the game and  he was well adapted to it. He was quite capable of walking. Maybe you need to say what you think ambulatory means.

on another note if you post you are subject to being quoted. That's how it works.

TD sat out this last game , so what is your point? I would like to hear something like that from TD instead of you projecting it onto him.

anyway it would not be Cam's call if he sits so it is not on him but on RR.

    • they have the best defense they've had in a long time...probably the best in the reid/mahommes era.  but i think they are probably the most beatable they've been in a while as well. record doesn't exactly bear that out, but they just don't look as strong on offense as they usually do. lots of reasons for that, like trying to build chemistry with newer receivers, but right now they just aren't as frightening as they typically are. i mean they'll probably win tomorrow, but i don't see them as the strongest team in the AFC right now.
    • He will likely remain unsigned the remainder of this season(barring someone being in a pure QB panic AND making poor decisions) largely due to the cost. I do think he will get multiple offers to be a backup QB and perhaps a couple to potentially start this offseason.  I will continue to beat the same horse over and over.....he should go to a successful team with an established starter. If I were him, go to somewhere like SF, LAR, etc. Somewhere with a successful QB coach and brilliant offensive mind and ALSO a set situation at QB. Ride the pine and adjust for a year or two. Chill and be around better culture. I would suggest the same for Bryce but he will be limited to wherever we can trade him.
    • I dont think the clock has started yet on canales.  Once he gets his guy then the pressure starts.  WFNZ/mike kaye said  yesterday that he thinks there are 4 options here regardless of bryces status, Geno, Fields, Wilson maybe Jones.
