Smith: "I ran around those boys like they were schoolyard kids"

And if any of you say "what a jerk" or anything like that since he said that, you're stupid. He deserved to say that. He deserved this day. We deserved this day. We screwed him over. But now he'll reap the benefits while the stupid "experts" end up being right about us. I'd love to know what a certain Mr. Gettleman thinks right now. Not to mention those of you who thought getting rid of him was a wonderful decision. But whatever. I'm happy for Smitty, and I'm disgusted with us.

"Screwed him over"

We paid him over $50 million over 13 seasons even after he assaulted multiple teammates.

the annoying part is both of his touchdowns were complete bullshit plays.

but he can't be discredited for them, and i'm just jealous that he didn't get more complete bullshit effortless unicorn fart touchdowns while he was here with us.

I'm actually more annoyed by the fact that a number of people on here actually seem to be happy that things turned out this way.

i hate that our defense got schooled by some short punk wide receiver. i don't care who he is or where he played. the defense had no answer for him and that was embarrassing. that shouldn't have happened. not to us. not to this defense.

we got spanked two weeks in a row and our defense has been torn apart by two very mediocre offenses. that's all that matters. we lost two in a row and heading into an even tougher part of the schedule.

steve smith is just another player on just another team that beat us and if we don't change things quickly we're going to keep being that statement game for other teams who prove we are that team that can't put together two winning seasons in a row.

I'm so glad that we got this game out of the way.  I'm tired of having to hate Steve since he plays for a team we would be opposing.

Best of luck the rest of the way Steve.  If the panthers don't win it, i'll be rooting for the Ravens.

Your fans await your return when you choose to retire as a panther.

Honest question.  Do you really think Gettleman is going to sign Smitty so he can retire here?  I think if he has his way, there isn't a snowballs chance in hell of that happening.  X-factor is if Richardson orders it to happen.  That is the *only* way this ever happens and after the past few weeks of his antics, I'll be disappointed if it does.

Enjoy your Ravens jersey Smitty.

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
