And yet, Luke was the reason our defense jumped 10 spots during his rookie campaign. You know, when we didn't have ANY interior force other than Luke himself? I'm sure you'll have an excuse for that as well.

Dog, what are we arguing here. Your acting like I said a single bad thing about Luke or that the other players made him great. All I'm saying is that its easier on everyone when players around you demand respect and the defense as a whole benefits from that. The same way the secondary benefited last year when the front 7 was elite or does that not make sense to you.

Every piece matters man. We obviously miss those guys and yes Luke (and the entire defense) does benefit from it. I don't think that makes someone an idiot or bandwagon fan to observe that.

That's not really taking anything away from Luke. He's only one guy.

Someone gets it. I didn't think it was that hard of a concept to grasp

Davis was poo last week too. Somehow that is lost in the shuffle. My point remains, this is an internal issue, not a player one. Something is affecting our entire team for us to be playing like utter poo.

Yes there is more to it.  I agree.

It seriously seems to be an effort and/or mental issue. Ron Rivera defenses have never had tackling issues before these past two games. He's known for his swarming, attacking defenses. It's what the Panthers were known for last year.

I don't know if the issue is importing some of the Falcons softness with Decoud, or Harper not meshing, or if the issue is straight from Rivera himself, but there's absolutely some sort of lapse going on that's not simply the players suddenly sucking.

    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
