the entire secondary is garbage if there isn't a pash rush. You can disguise a bad secondary if you have a good F7 and can generate a pass rush - but when you can't, they get exposed. Hardy certainly looks like a difference maker for this team.

Cason was worse than everyone else

Riiiiight. Hardy and Davis are what make this defense elite. Kuechly is now all the sudden the guy benefiting from other great players. I don't lash out much but get on your fugging knees and beg for forgiveness you damn idiot. If we lose Luke, our defense will die a very miserable death. Days like this reveal true fans and you're obviously a bandwagon fan.

Ironically, last season Greg Hardy only showed up against low tier teams and his stats were inflated. Now all the sudden Hardy is the key to it all despite Star has been seeing more double teams than both Greg and Charles have combined.

Seriously, this fanbase is a joke.

Hmmm, did I say that they were better than Luke? Comprehension fam, everything is easier when the players around you are better, that should be common sense. But me using common sense makes me a bandwagon fan lmao.

Every piece matters man.  We obviously miss those guys and yes Luke (and the entire defense) does benefit from it.  I don't think that makes someone an idiot or bandwagon fan to observe that.

That's not really taking anything away from Luke.  He's only one guy.

    • I’m just not seeing it. Falcons are better than the previous two teams we faced and the Panthers unlike most teams do not really play better at home than on the road
    • I don’t know about this one. Looking at his touches in week 2, there are still 3 plays I can find where he had an easy 2-3 yards upfield and somehow turned it to a race to the sideline for no gain or negative yardage. He was putting us in 2nd and 11 vs 2nd and 7. It doesn’t seem like much, but an NFL WR has to know to get upfield. You will break one eventually.
    • Despite what reports say, I still think Tepper is influencing football decisions.  We certainly heard about this during the Reich short era...ie - the Monday morning meetings.  There are too many consistent inconsistencies still going on to not think he is still too much involved.  New coaches, new GMs....same results.  The offense looks the same under Canales as it did under Rhule, Brown and Reich. The only time the offense has looked different was when Wilkes moved to a power run game for 6-7 games.  But it was clear Wilkes would not have wanted BY....probably a big reason why he was not retained.   The defense was actually better under Snow but he had better players and it was not a great defense.  But the defense has gotten much worse as they lost key players (Luvu, Chinn, Burns & etc) but did not replace them with even average talent.  The defense was never really strong since the 3-4 defense was pushed on Rivera by Tepper. I think Tepper pushed for BY too.  Now Canales is stuck with a QB that does not fit his system.  The last 7-years of Panthers football can be traced back to when Tepper bought the team.
