Been some real sour people about Smitty this offseason.

Lol he showed y'all mother fugers today didn't he?  Dude could've went over 200 today if they wanted him to.

 

It's a moot point, but Steve himself has said he wouldn't have tried very hard here if he had stayed.

 

 

That being said, I'm happy to see him play well still.

It still doesn't make sense that we got rid of him. We are now seeing that it was either Cam or Shula that hindered his production. He looks younger than ever and is putting up consistent beasty numbers.

yeah if only we had kept smith and ran some designed busted plays for him that could have been cam fumbling the snap and throwing up a prayer or olsen tipping an overthrown pass intended for him directly into smith's hands

 

Yeah, it's not like he played 3 other games and is one of the top 5 receivers (hell, he might be the fuging leader after today) in the NFL or anything like that.

Fact is, Smith would have had to miss every practice this week doing pressers to say all the stuff attributed to him.
