Shula lead Panthers now 0-6 when opposing team scores more than 20 points

it's taken me a long time to get on board with the fire shula crowd, but this game officially tipped me over the edge.

it has nothing to do with "he doesn't throw ball which i like wah wah" or "why would you run ever wah wah" which tend to be the loudest voices and ultimately discredit the whole of the sentiment. but seriously, the lapses in judgement are insurmountably stifling. how many drives did we see cam slinging one-legged darts downfield with blood pouring from his open wounds and setting us up for scores and then shula calling three goddamn motherfuging running plays to darren fuging nobody reaves IN A ROW and resulting in a punt or a field goal?

mike shula has no imagination, demonstrates no ability to adapt, inexplicably milks the clock while he's down by two dozen points which is the opposite of what you're supposed to do, and spills the most milquetoast, predictable gameplans onto the field since jeff davidson was scheming ways to feature the single-faceted use of star tight end jeff king.

bring on ramsdell.

Davis was in last week when the defense sucked

yes and blowouts happen once in a while to teams with holes. i thought this team was capable of bouncing back. and with Davis, they might have been.

also, i am really thinking that the completely afemininate approach the front office took with Greg Hardy has damn near cost the Panthers the season. how hard would it have been to say that the legal process is not complete and the Panthers will level no punishment until its complete?

truly rodeo, Davis and Hardy arent the only missing links on this team. but damn it would help if they were both here. :/

900 yards and 74 points given up

Yet start threads about the guy with practice squad RBs and a UDFA and DT playing offensive tackles not scoring 24 points a game

Why then does he continue to dial up run up the middle plays for those practice squad Rbs?   Both the defense and shula are valid arguments.

Because we can't pass because of o line. You think they will be better on sweeps, stretches, or tosses? With these OTs?

Teams are loading the box. Hurts run and takes away all those quick passes. Normally that is fine, you just go over the top, but we can't give receivers time to get down field.

Whenever Cam got time we got chunk plays in passing game. But until the o line starts playing better there are not a lot of answers

Brother, I just want to see some short,  quick passes.  I would rather a 3 yard pass happen,  than a 1 yard run up the middle with a practice squad rb that may or may not fumble.     I understand that our offensive playcalling isn't built around speed or scoring fast,  it's built around running as much time off the clock as possible...   and it is moments like this  when our defense lets us down,  that our style of offense truly,  truly sucks.

There are defensive players crowding the short passes where u going to throw them?

No offense to you, but some of you guys make it sound like it is as simple as calling a short passing play. You have guys running routes that compliment each other, and an o line that is literally giving about 1 second to go through all the progressions.

Its embarrassing that we don't have no huddle in the playbook or a two minute drill. With Benjamin on the outside and Olsen inside its almost a no brainer to go no huddle on some possessions because those two are mismatches and are harder to stop when not using the full play clock on every damn possession.

Either Shula and Ron are morons or Cam isn't smart enough to run a no huddle offense. Bring back Chud

College ain't the NFL and the NFL ain't college, but Cam was perfectly comfortable in a no-huddle offense at Auburn.

As a matter of fact, I've never seen a college QB be more dominant and perform better in a no-huddle.

You are defending a man who kept running the ball up the middle when down 21 and not even try to run up-tempo? It's good to know that once we are down 10, it is pretty much impossible (for us) to come back.

I sympathize with your point of view and understand what you're saying.

But something is available against defenses for an offense to attack SOMEWHERE.  They can't cover EVERY damn possible offensive option every play.

And its the offensive coordinators damn job to find it.

Not defending him, he had a bad day, but there isn't a whole lot u can do with no pass pro. When we had pass pro we got chunk yards
