I have always said they guy was a fug up. You don't blow up a really good team and start over in the name of salary cap and some vague notion of building for the future. This is the NFL, not some college program.  He got lucky last year and now the poo has hit the fan.

 I could be entirely wrong, but doesn't the Head coach have more control over his assistant coaches than the GM?  Once again, I want to state that I'm not positive in this.  I thought it was the Head coach that made most of those decisions...
