I've always wondered if the origin if the word Troll as it is used on the internet started out from the trolling motor, and not the under the bridge troll the kids have morphed it into.

Because the trolling motor as the root meaning makes a lot more sense to me than a fictitious monster that eats people crossing bridges.

I believe Gettleman fuged up with this bullshit offensive line, but did not IMO, fug up in regards to Steve Smith and the WR corps. But that typically makes me a Gettleman homer and turns the discussion sideways rather quickly.

I definitely agree on the OL. As for Steve Smith, well, that's a hotly debated topic and is just going to bring out raw emotion on both sides. I don't know if I would say he fugged up on that, but I think we can all agree that paying him to leave at this point after pretty much single handily lighting up our defense is at the very least semi questionable.

I believe it sucks that Smitty torched us. I also believe if he were still here he'd be putting up a solid 40 yards per game with no TD catches yet and that Cam and Kelvin wouldn't have nearly the chemistry they do now.

Some people want to take Smitty's 100 yards/game and 1 TD/game an just transfer it to this team, which IMO isn't an accurate representation at all of how things would have been had he still been here.

It's unfortunate the way poo went down, but it was going to happen eventually and was going to be messy, unless DG decided to pay SS an ungodly amount over the next three seasons and retire on his own, which he didn't mention wanting to do until conveniently after he got cut.
