I don't think I've ever heard of anything like this in any of the professional leagues...  And the guy seemed like a stand-up, low-key type of guy.  WTF happened in the last 24 hours?

A logical explanation would be that since he was from Michigan he wanted to go home and see family before the season starts up (training camp is the beginning of the season). Players really don't really have the time to do these types of things during the season

The Lansing jail told me Jeff Taylor did NOT come there this evening.

All the police entities in Michigan I've talked to seemed to think that SOMETHING happened this evening but what, nobody can say

Apparently Ms. Evans made a mistake because according Andrew Dunn and Mike Leslie neither the Lansing Jail or Ingham Jail has any records of Taylor being booked again.

It looks like someone was given the wrong info.
