Dreariest August and September weather I can remember

I actually wouldn't mind about a 2 month drought right now.

I believe it is called the Carolina Wedge. The weather gets trapped by air coming from the Atlantic and being blocked by the App mountains and it doesn't move.  

 

I could be making that up but I believe I heard one of those hot weather girls that are not even meteorologist say it on TV awhile back so it has to be true.

That is a thing. I'm not sure that is what is happening but it could be

Cant get into the field to plant my fall crop its been so wet.

I'm also hearing reports that this winter is supposed to be especially harsh... Great.

 

Friend works for the Weather Channel, he has mentioned to me a few times to be ready for a very cold winter.

 

 

So much for global warming....

In North America, September was the snowiest on record dating to the late 1960s. And in Siberia, the snow is going gangbusters so far this October.  Some scientists suggest all of this snow so early in the year may be a harbinger of a rough winter for the U.S. and Europe.
