when you get older you realize how shitttty espn is. they "create" the news they don't report it. I'm not a Bill Simmons fan at all but it most def looks like they are doing him wrong. Stephen A Smith basically says women who are sexually assaulted/domestic violence victims were "asking" for it by the way dress and invoke men. that results in a 2 week suspension for a guy who is no stranger to bringing up race and accusing people he doesn't know of being racists.  Simmons says what every one with a brain is thinking and ESPN can't stand it. I bet Goodell made a phone call to ESPN and got him suspended. 

 

 

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Bill Simmons daring ESPN to suspend him probably had a lot to do with that. .

Honestly, how many of those "analysts" do you respect and value their opinion? I like TJ, Golic is tolerable in small doses, and I don't really dislike Merril Hodge or Eric Allen.  But the rest, ESPECIALLY Mark Schlerth can fug off.

 

Schefter is good at what he does - but he does not need to present any personality. Stay neutral and just report who is going where during FA and what players are inactive early Sunday morning.

Yea, I feel the same way.  The only one I don't cringe at is Tom Jackson.  He seems like a decent guy that brings an old school perspective but is not the walking cliched embodiment of it (Ditka).  He just gets kinda crowded out and will always be attached to Chris Berman and his tired schtick.  Fuggin' leathers holding him back.
