What track record does proehl have? sorry to be the pessimist but who has he turned around exactly? where is this league wide respect? are you guys just assuming it? sorry i just dont see where people praise him other than panther fans who are just regurgitating what other panther fans are saying.

im not saying proehl is bad! he could very well be great. im just questioning where people get this notion that There is a league wide respect for him that hes awesome. I just find that questionable when hes kinda new at the coaching position and doesnt have a tract record.

And Gettleman aint perfect we all know that but i do like where i believe this team will end up. I agree with most of his moves so far, and were still 2-1.

3 years from now we can darn near promise a superbowl appearance... now that might not sound exciting to the impatient here but its very realistic financially and based on building.

fun trivia:

 

the jaguars had an option of signing literally any WR on any NFL practice squad, including tavarres king and stephen hill.

 

they signed tavarres king instead of stephen hill. the jaguars. their top three wideouts (lee, robinson, hurns) are all rookies. king has played in like one game. hill has two seasons worth of play. he was deemed worse than king. just a reminder to the hill lovers out there.

There's a reason why Hill's agent was practically begging Carolina to pick him up.  Proehl is one helluva WR coach.  If anyone can make Hill a legit NFL WR, it's Proehl.  Not sure we'll see that happen this year, but I'm really hoping we can keep Hill stashed and give him an offseason with Proehl and see what happens.

 

Two things

 

The league knows about Ricky Proehl.   I would be certain spies are among us watching Hill.

 

As soon as a team drops out of contention why not steal a WR for the future.  If Proehl does what we think he will do.  Hill won't make it through the entire season on the Practice Squad.

 

I hope you are right.  I just don't see it.  Bill Billicheat has probably already got his eye on our squad again.
