  1. 1. Should the Panthers sit an injured Cam and go with DA?

    • Yes - sit Cam to allow him to heal

    • No - play Cam even if he's dinged up

    • Maybe - play Cam but only if we bring back the QB runs

No.

This is his best season as a passer of his career

Why would you bench that? Is DA going to start running over people? If not he isn't bringing anything else to the party Cam isn't

Problems aren't at QB. No he isn't Superman right now but fixing our O starts elsewhere

If the Bye week was early for us this year, it could maybe be considered. Unfortunately, we don't have the luxury.

I'd honestly like to see him sit, IF it meant he could fully heal. I don't think it's possible though, so Cam will just be a different player this season. It's not a bad thing, but as bad as this offensive line is...his running and ability to escape problems are sorely missed.

Did no one read the Rivera comment that said Cam won't be fully healed till February? Some of you may be with ok with DA for a whole season but I'm not. Unless Cam is in some type of unmanageable pain then he can play and Cam would agree. It's the coach that needs to adjust the most.

Yeah seriously, every second he holds the ball longer I start yelling exponentially louder at the TV "throw it, THROW IT!"

It's almost like he's not confident enough to escape or at least try to so he just sits, makes me so damn nervous.  Although I think his progression reading has improved which is good.

It pisses me off that you see Big Ben throw it in less than 2 seconds multiple times, showing that their gameplan was to get it out of his hand quickly against our D-line (makes sense).  Why can't we do that?  Get the ball out of Newton's fugging hand Shula so he doesn't end up on IR.

we don't have the personnel to do what pitt did. they have explosive talent on O we don't

That sad things is we have to rely on our QB for a running game. I say continue to play him but we should incorporate Reaves and Whitaker once he's healthy into our running game. Unfortunatly Dwill and Stewart are to complacent and I think they play to prevent injury which in turn leads to more injuries. They don't attack the hole as they should they are to busy dancing in the backfield. Their lack of production leads to Cam running more which led to his injury.

His escapability may be hindered, but his passes have looked better to me than previous seasons. Keep him in because he gives the team the greatest chance to win, but the rest of the team needs to step it up.

FWIW, what I think we saw on sunday was a lack of chemistry and preparation for the Oline. Everybody, including Kalil, just looked out of sync and lost. I think that's something that will get better as the season goes on.
