  1. 1. Should the Panthers sit an injured Cam and go with DA?

    • Yes - sit Cam to allow him to heal

    • No - play Cam even if he's dinged up

    • Maybe - play Cam but only if we bring back the QB runs

I said earlier,

"Broken ribs and surgically repaired ankle, be damned, right? Cam's not running the ball and being "Cam". He runs and is labeled a running QB. He gets better every fuging year and is CURRENTLY killing teams from the pocket, but he isn't "Cam', so let's sit him. How about let's hire an OC, who can adjust in real-time and who doesn't call counter-productive plays".

Adjust + Shula = LOL

Yeah seriously, every second he holds the ball longer I start yelling exponentially louder at the TV "throw it, THROW IT!"

It's almost like he's not confident enough to escape or at least try to so he just sits, makes me so damn nervous.  Although I think his progression reading has improved which is good.

It pisses me off that you see Big Ben throw it in less than 2 seconds multiple times, showing that their gameplan was to get it out of his hand quickly against our D-line (makes sense).  Why can't we do that?  Get the ball out of Newton's fugging hand Shula so he doesn't end up on IR.

I'd love to see some WR screens to KB or Philly Brown.

We're operating backwards. Let me say this. Cam is fine in the pocket as a passer. He proved that Sunday. If you let him fire it around he'll make plays with his arm. Understand as a pocket passer, unless you have an all-pro oline you're going to take a few sacks. Yes Cam is still developing to step up at times in the pocket or throw it away if nothing is there. You give him options that can catch and run routes, he's fine. Penalties, a few sacks and stuffed runs stopped us from getting that endzone, not Cam inability to run. Like Rivera said you can't run for a few yardage and then get a negative gain the next one..Getting hit the pocket or on the run, he's getting hit. He got injured from moving. A running back job is to run the ball. We have a lot of money invested in them and their play is not worth it, partly because our oline isn't run blocking well and the other part is, they're not top 10 anymore, barely top 15. QB job is to pass it or hand it off. Its cool every now and then he can scramble, but treating him like he's our RB is only going to shorten his career as a QB. As he get older, that ability to do the things he used to will stop anyway

Thank you. Too many people got it twisted. QB runs are a luxury, not their job. If you team can't without your QB creating the run game, then you are a bad team...Period...

It's Amazing what one game will do, you would think Cam actually had a bad game. The problem is that we have no run game. NONE. Idc who you are, if you expect you're QB to be your run game you're in trouble. Cam not running isn't the problem. The problem is that we are a team that depends on him to run, because as a pocket passing quarterback he's just as good as Andy Dalton if not better, and they aren't saying bench him.
