HBO - True Detective Season 2

Vaughn seems like the type that could pull off a dark roll easily. I'd like to see him in it.

He did well in Clay Pigeons and as a detective in Serial Killer movie The Cell(which had it's moments.)

And if you checked out of True Detective season 1...i feel you have cheated yourself out of what I consider the most anticipated week to week show I ever watched. It was mostly perfect in my opinion.

Mini series shows like this and American Horror Story are my thing. No AMHS thread yet?

There was a coven one last season. I'm sure a freak show one will pop up as the new season gets closer. I rewatched asylum with my girlfriend this past week and it was incredible.

I know some male fans of AHS did not like or finish coven but it was spectacular to me. It starts off sorta like the craft, establishing teen relationships and the witches for 4 episodes but when Kathy Bates and Angela Bassit back stories are revealed it becomes really complex

Also Jessica Lange went to some rare ground with her acting chops in Coven. She somehow keeps a credible sexuality to her character even though she is really not aged well but confidence can go a long way.

It was not scary like season 1.. Or painful and gruling as Asylum... But it definitly is binge watch worthy when it should hit Netflix on Oct.8th.

Coven was my favorite one..didn't really like Asylum.

 

 

I think the show is better when it has that mix of horror and dark comedy.

I really liked coven but I thought the ending wasn't really as satisfying as asylum and murder house but that's just me

I think the actors will be fine.

I wish Cary Fukunaga was coming back as the director. This season there will be a new director every few episodes.
