Tolbert to IR Designated to Return; DJ Smith to Active Roster

Tolbert has been largely ineffective this season. No big loss on offense. Moving up Smith takes care of Tolbert's special teams spot.

On the real, how long did we honestly think TD was going to hold up?

I dont want to give up on him just yet. He has been pretty durable the past couple years. If he misses a game or two for getting dinged i wouldnt consider it "not holding up"

I hate loosing Tolbert. Who would've thought that at the beginning of the season that we'd be hurting that the RB position. Personally, I'd cut my loses with Stewart after this season.

what if i told you guys that dj smith was not signed to play linebacker...yes, i'll give you a minute to steady yourselves.  i have a source (very reliable) telling me that dj is going to play full back. you heard it here first folks.  td will play this week, and todays info about him practicing is just more evidence to the credibility of my insider source.

You're right, they didn't sign him to play LB.  They signed him to play Tolbert's position on special teams.
