Our last hope for short yardage sits is Stew and Im not comfortable with his health status

 

That's why I don't understand this move individually... 

 

Perhaps there are more moves to come, or at least I certainly hope so.  The injury report yesterday was Toldozer had a hairline fracture in his leg and Stew had a bad knee sprain (also during the game the trainers were treating his ankle).  I expected both of them to be out for a significant amount of time, with Stew likely being out longer than Tolbert. 

 

They didn't really specify TD's situation, but he wasn't near anyone and grabbed his hammy while running behind the play.  A few minutes later he was looking over stuff on the bench with Luke reviewing the previous series...  His injury appeared to be the least of those three IMO.

 

I expect there to be more moves to come.  We're down 2 RBs at the very least.

I guess a better question is , if Cam is even playing Sunday, that would just be the icing on the cake with these injuries.

Gambling that a patchwork OL better suited for arena league could protect our QB and RBs turned out to backfire epically.

He took some pretty bad hits and honestly he's not throwing deep because he can't drive the accurately with jacked ankle. He just looks very slow when he moves

Yeah Tolbert hasn't looked right all season. Hope he can get healthy.

damn.  well maybe now we can use a proper FB to lead block, but we will miss his running.

 

I say this all the time.  It is evident on a lot of plays too.  Tolbert gives you added dimensions, but head on old school fullback play is not one of those dimensions.

Well it's a good thing Brandon Williams practiced some at HB this offseason. We may see him more in that role now.
