Hakeem Knicks will look amazing against a secondary still trying to figure itself out, which should do a lot to improve his case for the starter job in NY

While I don't think this will be a great showcase for our run defense except for while the starters are on the field, we should get a great look at how the run game is evolving to stay ahead of the curve. Goodson and Fiametta will probably catch a crapload out of the backfield.

Jarret will catch one and take it the distance, giving us all an amazing sense of hope.

Moose will be Moose (read: the most awesome 36 year old reciever in football) while he is on the field, but I am hoping that he stays more on his side of the field than on Smitty's. No reason for him to waste ALL of the preseason learning a posistion that God willing he won't play.

Gamble, Marshall, Godfrey, Martin, and Munnerlyn will all have interceptions or fumble recoveries. I'm expecting a lot of passes on the NY side of things here. Even if I'm wrong here, the new aggresiveness on defense and especially in the secondary will turn a lot of heads.

Panthers get five sacks. Not gonna predict from who, but Brown and Johnson will be the most prevalent backfield threats.

The number of starters who will see little to no time in the game will give us all an unnecessary cause for concern.

The Giants will win, and everyone on here will flip out even more about how there is no quality depth.

.

ive been to 6 NY Giant practices this year and let me just say if Nicks makes our secondary look bad.....we're done. Nicks is getting outshinned by Mario Manningham and David Tyree in practice right now.

Starters play 2 series

Fans over react, be it good or bad

Let me see, starters get two series. 'fans' on the board see nothing but gloom and doom and declare the season is a failure already. It will be real fire and brimstone stuff, Hail of fire falling from the sky, Dogs and cats living together...MASS HYSTERIA!!!

Our running game will look good, our run defense will look bad.

David Carr will be sacked at least twice

Decori Birmingham will get a good bit of touches at RB and will do fairly well against the backups

Dan Connor will lead the team in tackles on Monday Night

I've only heard and read things in passing but they were all very posistive of him. That was the basis there. But I'll believe a Panther fan whose seen him over what beat writers write about him. So I retract that prediction.

maybe i just happened to catch him on his 6 worst days. doubt it, but who knows. but ya he looks slow and lost when the balls in the air. He really struggles to turn and keep his eyes on the ball. but they do have another rookie now, Ramses Barden hes a 6'6 or 6'7 wideout that has great hands. Hes the one that worries me.

Tyler Palko is fun to watch, I agree.

I think the Cats will look sloppy Monday night.

Fox will speak at the post game press conference and will say nothing meaningful at all nor will he provide any insight

Less than average performance on both sides of the ball. Timing off. Not much scoring. Where is the optimism?
You're all right!

Hooray?
