I use to be a huge fan of Moore, but now I'm just hoping someone steps up as the clear No. 2. Especially after seeing Dennis Dixon and Tyler Palko playing semi-decent ball last night.

I'd love it if one of them was cut and we signed him.

He made his share of mistakes, but I was more impressed with Tyler Palko than I was with Leinart or St. Pierre.

true..but one thing i saw was the fact there teams let them air it out..unlike ours we will run the first two downs every time then pass on third if we have to get a first down...but palko and Dixon were throwing and running a lot.

Dixon's long throws looked bad. He did have a few really nice completions though.

I think Sweed looked pretty good @ 3rd WR too. When I saw Washington do some nice things for Tenn I thought Sweed better look good. He seems like such a nice kid too.

It did...I also think he should have taken off running when he rolled out of the pocket on 1st down.

It would not surprise me at all if both teams pull their starters after two series or less. Both of these teams are stacked when it comes to their starters but both are also lacking in many areas when it comes to backups. Coghlin and Fox are of the same ilk. They know what they got in their starters and will be looking more at their backups in this game. Games two and three will be the focus on getting the rythem in place. This game will be all about the backups on both sides. If that excits you, and it does me, then it will be fun to watch and the score will not matter. If you are wanting to be shown how great your Panthers are going to be this season...get ready to be disappointed or overly, and misguided, confident.

Goodson will get ALOT of work Monday night as the #3 back.

^^^this^^^. except he will get carries as the #2 RB. i don't see stewart playing. goodson will get all of the carries that stewart would have and then some.

i predict that giants will be hit hard and often. there may be a skirmish or two and more of them get hurt than the panthers. these guys are ready to do some damage.

I think the most interesting thing to see will be the battle of our backup quarterback against our old backup quarterback...They both suck and I wonder who will sick the most!!
