OK, was the Mike Mitchell play dirty?

worrilds hit wasn't intentional. instant replay showed it wasn't, and he immediately went to newton to apologize and make sure newton knew he wasn't deliberately trying to hurt him.

as far as mitchell's hit on stewart...i have my suspicions.

Worrilds showed class in his gesture. Not meaning to hijack the thread but I respect the sportsmanship.

Was all that extra activity bring down Stew really necessary? I'm not convicting him. I'm just asking.

No, it wasn't dirty. Furthermore, he had a free shot at Olsen when he scored his TD as he was going into the endzone which 99% of players would have taken, and he elected to not even hit Olsen!

He showed respect for Olsen by not hitting him. Mitchell still cares about the players on this team. With him knowing our system and front 7 so well, I shouldn't have been surprised at all last night. He definitely provided inside knowledge and that's why they were so successful against us. Unfortunately, that has given the rest of the League a blue print against us for the duration.

For me, I'm glad we were exposed in week 3 rather than in the playoffs or even the Super Bowl

i actually respect Worrilds more now after he went up to Cam to apologize. not many others in the league would've done that

Looks like he got tackled after trying to jump to me...explain the dirty part all you who say it's a dirty play.

the first picture is the one he was injured on, not the picture of him jumping in the air.

the first picture is just before mitchell lands on his leg and torques stewart backwards while rolling. you can see his right hand around stewart's waist about to pull him back.

That's dirty? I wish more players would tackle backwards instead of taking the ball carrier forward and giving him more yards with his contact and momentum...
