The JAG element of our WR corps stood out. It is what it is.

I think the WRs have been playing pretty well so far this season. Our issues on offense is that we don't have an OL and now our RBs are a MASH unit. If we continue to be unable to establish a running game, opposing defenses will continue to be able to tee off on Cam. Shula won't adapt. He is who he is. He'll continue to call the same slow developing BS.

Good post as people are delirious on this.  That post was needed from someone who is constantly seeing how far a progression this guy needs to make.  I bet he doesn't have the playbook wrapped up in a neat little bow yet either.

people were wanting to play him last week even.  it's insane.

he's a medium range project.  if he's activated and getting playing time late in the year then he's exceeded expectations.

I hope the bit about King at the end was a joke.

As far as Denarius Moore goes, if he is so highly sought after, someone already would have given the Raiders a high pick. He's done poo so far this year. It looks pretty much like there's less than a 1% chance of him playing for Carolina, so it's probably time to let that go already.

Our WR situation could be better, but I don't think it's as bad as you are attempting to make it out to be.

We had 330 receiving yards last night, the Steelers didn't even crack 200. Our OL, and run game is the concern right now.

Sure the run game is a concern, but not "the concern".

Everyone has their opinion.  A couple of catches in garbage time by our only consistent legitimate threat while the opponent's best CB and key players are out doesn't exactly fill me with security, and it certainly doesn't change my mind about the need for a play maker.

In regards to Moore, I don't necessarily prescribe to the notion that just because he hasn't done anything there doesn't mean he can't and won't do anything here.

No, the King thing wasn't a joke.  You think that G-man signed King to the PS for no good reason?  But that was a passing thought anyway, not the subject of an in-depth discussion or point of contention.

The ability or willingness to fill needs (or holes) at one position doesn't discount the need to do the same at another position.  If someone has ideas about filling holes at another position, then perhaps they should come up with a thread and some answers.
