Why we lost...

Primary reason: Offensive line was awful against the Steelers attack.

Newton got hurt early in the game and never quite got right.  He had maybe one drive where he looked like I'm used to seeing him.  The rest were just off.

Defense was tired most of the game but didn't handle the Steelers well even at their best.

Special teams was an absolute disaster.

as the D goes so go the Panthers, that is the bottom line.

What we see now, he is shadow of himself. He is not giving this team it's best chance to win

I'm a big fan of his, but, I'm a bigger fan of the team

I'm not gonna blame any player for being a competitor.

But by golly I got tired of watching the guy who's meant to be our franchise quarterback for the next ten years get beaten like a drum behind poor protection tonight, especially when it became painfully obvious he wasn't healthy enough to protect himself either..

How long before DA goes down. Cam is one of the more durable QBs in the league yet he is hurt. So what happens when our Oline unleashes hell on DA? Next man up? Bring Cam back early? None of this sounds good to me. Fact is someone besides Cam needs to step up.

Honestly the thing you have to know about the Steelers is this. They get a ton of give me calls every game, they are the Cowboys of the AFC. They also get away with about as many calls as they are given. Lastly they have a SB QB and a good defense that unless you can overcome the first two things will whip you in most games. If the Steelers lose by a large margin its mostly them self destructing. Tonight they were on and we were off so blowout.

The refs last night were bad, but they seemed impartial. BS excuse.

The Steelers do NOT have a good defense. However, our bad offensive line having a HORRIBAD night + Shula being clueless against a 3-4 (as usual) is a horrible combination.

The only problem with cam running is he cannot or will not properly slide and while in the pocket alot of his sacks are a result of not just getting rid of the ball in time.no wonder he is susceptible to injury.

Yes, it's so much better for a 6'6 QB to blow his knees out by sliding feet first and taking a headshot. GTFO

The funny thing about Pittsburgh's pass rush. They were just beating guys. It was like watching a black belt vs grocery bagger. They used their hands and worked our line.

Yeah Kali got abused on the play in the first half when Cam got crushed. Then Kalil missed a blocking assignment on two other passes. Bad communication and bad play by the lines leader.

I didn't stay up to see the entire game. I taped it and will see the rest today.  What I did see was Bell getting beat all game resulting in two holding penalties and one sack fumble .  No way we can win this way.  The rest of the 0-line didn't do  much better.  We have to upgrade our line or Cam doesn't finish the season.
