Cam Tonight

2 of the 3 sacks were pressure right up the middle. They were really hard to avoid even with cam at 100%.

Watch them again. I don't know which, but one of them he had 2-3 seconds to recognize that the guy was coming and he absolutely could've side stepped out of the pocket and continued to play. At 100% he would've avoided it absolutely. Not sure about the other one that Kalil gave up.

Cam still throwing high.  I'm starting to think we can't fix it.

No qb throws perfect all the time. Sometimes they miss wide or throw behind the receiver. Rodgers couldn't get anything going against the lions today when Cam was slinging it against them last week. It's a pretty stupid thing to harp on the high throws. What is Cam's completion percentage? That is what matters the most.

Sorry but no, he didn't.

Cam was holding the ball too long and was off target on more than his usual share of throws.

Worst of all, he got knocked around way too much, primarily because our tackles look awful.  If he were healthy, he might have been able to run his way out of some of those spots.  He clearly isn't healthy.

And while we probably already knew he wasn't completely healthy.  Playing in this game might have made that a whole lot worse.

I'm really starting to worry about all the hits he's taken.

Did he also tell him not to step out of the pocket to avoid a sack? He could've done that numerous times without taking off and either thrown it away or found a guy downfield. Cam was hesitant to even move a foot in the pocket and it got him sacked.

How can you step anywhere if pressure is coming from every angle? Complain cam never stayed in the pocket now he wants to and you grill him. Peyton wouldn't do poo with this team

I don't agree. Will watch it tomorrow. Way to tired right now. From what I do remember 2 of the 3 sacks happened in under 3 secs and the other was a coverage sack.

There were a couple of times Cam holded the ball too long but the way you are describing it is like Cam holding the ball so long is the reason for most of the sacks when it was not. Literally I could probably count 3-5 times where Cam was looking to throw the ball within three seconds but the o-line was already giving up the pressure. It was ridiculous. Cam had his troubles tonight but he wasn't the main problem.

Show me where I complained Cam never stayed in the pocket. Pressure was not coming from every angle on every sack. I never said Peyton would do anything better in that game and I don't think he would've. I'm saying a 100% Cam (both physically and mentally) would've done MUCH better in that game. The injuries are affecting him way more than people think.

Cam is not fuging HOUDINI. I dont know what some of you have been watching over the years, but usually when Cam makes his magic its after he has had time to look down field. Tonight he was getting sacked 2-3 seconds after he hiked the ball, not only is the line getting dominated they are missing assignments and letting guys right threw. That cant happen.

There were A LOT of plays where last year he would've gotten away from the sack and got a completion or scrambled for yardage, instead tonight he was very hesitant, didn't recognize a sack coming and didn't move well, taking really bad sacks. The line sucked but it was manageable and if he were 100% physically and mentally our offense wouldn't have been nearly that bad.

That's what was so hard to watch. He looks slower than Derek Anderson now.
