I've been playing '07 versions of NCAA and Madden for a while now because I'm too cheap to upgrade my system. I did, however, just come across a free ps2. Now I'm going to trade in my xbox and all of the games for 2010 versions of Madden and NCAA.

Can anyone speak of the games on ps2? Are they pretty much just as good as on the higher-end systems?

I've always been an NCAA guy over Madden, since back when Ricky Williams was on the cover. But you're missing out this year. Madden is so far superior to NCAA that you wonder if the NCAA team did anything at all. Which is hard for an NCAA fan to say, but since I love football, I'm going to play the better product.

i disagree.

i think NCAA is better.

it is soooooo easy to run in madden. and not to mention there are way to many BIG plays cause of broken tackles. i break alot of tackles even with 3 people haning on.

NCAA 10 is pretty much NCAA 09 with a couple of new animations. It feels stale now. If you have a fast QB, you can scramble for 40 yards a pop because the pursuit angles don't exist. Passing is easy. You can throw frozen ropes off your back foot across the field. Ratings don't really matter. Third string QB's can perform as well as starters if you know what you're doing. Offensive linemen suction block defensive linemen regardless of rating.

It also has no presentation or atmosphere. Every game feels the same. Every stadium feels the same. It just kind of bores me.

To each his own though.
