I submit this post I made in response to our "ball control" slow paced offense.

 

Clinging to this as a philosophy when it doesn't work is a horrible idea. We couldn't move the ball for poo when we've tried that so far this year, because we can't run. We only had success at all against Detroit with a fast paced, quick route, efficient offense. It was very much the same for a lot of games last year, including the few games the offense sputtered out at the end of the year, including the playoffs, when we stubbornly and ignorantly refused to adjust out of it.

 

It's not ball control if you can't keep the ball and have to punt.
