No Huddle Offense

The No Huddle should be used, if anything to keep defenses off balance (besides it's other advantages of points on the board, and getting Cam and the offense in a groove).

Some people here can't seem to comprehend you can still control the clock and run a No Huddle. It's only a quick score, if you go for the home run early in the possession.

Another advantage: Points can make the oppositions offense one dimensional. This way, the defense can Tee off. This is exactly what the Panthers D did last weekend when they got the second half lead on Detroit, courtesy of the "No Huddle" offense.

We went 3 and out the first 3 times we touched the ball. Detroit owned the first quarter. We went no huddle to get Cam started and it worked. We used it in the 3rd quarter after we started slowly again.

We don't use it to speed the game up. We mostly use it to get Cam into a groove.

Yep, when we ran the Hurry Up, they couldn't make adjustments. Those little out passes killed them.

i havent noticed this. but if its true, then we need to use it more often and MUCH earlier in games. one thing that has really concerned me (not that i was surprised by it) has been the eternity it takes our offense to get into a rhythm. come week 5 when the bears come to town, that poo aint gonna fly... and it wont fly in the 5 games afterward either...

we can still have no huddle and slow down the game. hurry and get to the line and then take our own sweet time. keeps them from making substitutions.

the only problem i see with this is the chance that we get called for false starts all the time. when you ask the OL to stay still for 10-15 seconds, you set yourself up for an accidental jump more often.
