What do you think our weakest position on offense is?

no surprise really. they were so far apart before hand that the reports of potentially getting a deal done were to save panic.

they arent even close in their negotiations. it would be like me trying to talk a benz salesmen into selling me a 600 for 200 bucks...at first he'll laugh it off and pretend im not serious. but once he realizes im just being an idiot he'll walk away and tend to something else.

How is TE the weakest? King does exactly what we ask him to do.

I'd say QB.

I like our tight ends, but it just came down to the other areas being so good.

Our offensive line is one of the best in the league. We have one of the league's best wide receivers, and the best running back tandem in the league.

Jake certainly is no world-beater, but I don't think you can argue that any or all of our tight ends are more important to our team than Delhomme is.

Like I said, I like our tight ends -- it just came down to the other offensive components being better.

    • I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.
    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
