In my opinion, he's top 10. But, it's weird, because it's hard to rank them. You can only do so in groups.

Rodgers

Manning

Brady

Brees

Cam

Ryan

Rivers

Wilson

Luck*

Dalton

Romo

Flacco*

Kaep*

Your first 3 are really the only 3 you could put ahead of Cam without an argument. With that said, Rodgers is 6 years older than Cam, Bress is 10, Brady 12 and Manning 13.

The fact that you could make an argument for Cam being top 5 AT 25 years of age, says it all. This guy deserves to be paid and will. He's the first or second name that comes out of your mouth if you're starting a franchise today. You don't let a talent like Cam walk.

The playoff wins and crap will come. This team was a dumpster fire his first 2 years. Last year you all saw what happened and now we're off to a good start this year. Some of you judge Cam like he's a 10 year vet and expect the freaking world from him. Cam has only been given so much to work with.

At least we have a QB that we are considering paying big money to. Some teams can't find a QB to pay.

We have three choices.

Pay Cam market price. Market price is going to be between 20-25 m.

Let him leave and sign a cheaper free agent. Not sure who we could get.

Let him leave and draft a rookie. Very risky but could also be very rewarding (Seattle).

Our window of opportunity to build around a very cheap, very talented QB is about over.

Once you commit that large of a percentage of your cap to one player you better do well with the draft and cheap free agents. Luckily for us DG seems to be good with both of those.

I mean, we virtually have Cam for the next three years and there's nothing he can do about it.

The problem is, you pay Cam that kind of money, awesome. Great work. JJ Watt just signed a $100m deal. I'm sure Kuechly wants something similar. There's another $100m check written. Now Star is coming up. Awesome, Star is a major cornerstone of our offense. Albert Haynesworth received a $100m deal years ago, how much is Star going to want? Alright, there's another $XXm deal...

I understand the concerns you have about a contract that big strapping the team's salary cap, but considering how productive he is and what a rare talent he plus the recent contracts of other QBs (Flaco, Kapernick, Dalton), I'm not surprised by this estimate.  I don't think he'll sign some thing this big, but its obvious that its gonna take something bigger than the other three QBs mentioned to sign him long term.

If Cam wants money like that he needs to win in the playoffs period.  I'm all for paying the man, but the biggest contract in NFL history warrants at least 1 playoff win.

How in the hell are we supposed to do this and sign Kuechly?  Do we want any other players?  Are just going to have 20 1 year contracts for the league minimum per year?

Cam if you win in the playoffs get your money.

If you can't take us to the NFCCG you need to lower your price by 5 mill per year.
