Completely agree. I was at that game and it was nowhere near 50/50.

That was easily the best game with home field advantage against a nationally branded team I've been to in Charlotte.

Maybe 80/20 inside. But all the Pats fans outside the stadium made for the best game day atmosphere I've also been around. Everyone was generally respectable.

need to make this game as uncomfortable for steelers fans as possible without resorting to things that will get panther fans arrested or put on TMZ.

the team needs this to be a blowout right from the very beginning. shut those carpetbaggers up and make them want to leave early.

if you have tickets and want to sell them, don't sell to steeler fans.

Been to a lot of games since 1995. That was my favorite. That's the game from my profile pic. I've never had more fun at a home game. There was real energy outside the stadium before the game.

So what is the main reason there are so many Steelers fans in NC. Is it because they refused to break of their alliance in 1995? I dont get it

there's a lot of that and there's also a lot of transplants from the north, esp. depressed areas like where coal and steel used to be the big industries. when the jobs left, they moved to where the jobs were.

Charlotte is getting loaded with people from areas where the mills are now shut down.  They move down here like locusts looking for work, and instead of transferring their loyalties to the area that now feeds them because we know how to sustain an economy, they cling to the past glory days.

The best way to shut them up is on the scoreboard.
