Went to Lowe's Hardware and Chili's in Huntersville earlier and saw 9, yes NINE, different people wearing Steelers garbage.

"Nice hat. Find it at the redcoat surplus store?"

There are gonna be 30,000-40,000 mustard yellow towels waving around, in our stadium, on national tv.

I said this in another thread, but while I would prefer that we have a homefield advantage with 90% Panthers fans....it would be pretty damn sweet if the stadium was 60/40 and we beat them so bad that they are sitting the whole game. Kind of like the repayment we got on the Giants and their fans last year for the beatdown that they gave us in 2012.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
