In the state of North Carolina when you appeal you are innocent until that appeal. Basically Hardy was only guilty until the time he appealed.

Last time I checked, his trial isn't over. Until then, everyone should wear their Hardy jerseys if they want. No reason not to support an INNOCENT man.
