The Shutout

I think we have a better shot at a shutout with one of those home games in December (CLE or TB).  It would be nice for us to blank Johnny Football since he'll be starting by then.

There are a couple reasons why I don't think we will get the shutout on Sunday. First is that our punt coverage this year has not been good and the Steelers have a great punt returner that could give them a short field once or twice on Sunday. This leads to my second point in that Pittsburgh's kicker can make a field goal from 50+ yards out and they will get into that range at some point in the night.

Well this year we have shut outs in the first HALF!! ... So I can see us getting maybe 2 shut outs this year.

Our defense is reactionary. They make adjustments dependant on what the other team can and can't do. So, it's no surprise to see teams move the ball early and get scores.

Ummm....yeah....NO TEAM has scored early against Carolina yet this year. And by early, I mean in the FIRST HALF.
