The Shutout

ItsNotGonnaBeAlright

Sleeping on any NFL team is unwise.

The steelers can beat us. They have a good offense and we all know what Big Ben can do. Sure their defense has been bad but it always possible for a team to turn things around. I don't think we will end up being like the Saints last week but I do feel the Steelers are due for a win lets hope it isn't against us.

Obviously sleeping on any team is unwise.  I'm sure the players aren't looking at it like we fans are either.  They know anybody can be beaten "any given Sunday" to.  I just think a lot of fans are overlooking the Steelers, when they are capable of blowing up the scoreboard.  Doesn't mean they will, and we have an insanely good defense, but they have the weapons in place.

You know those guys who say over and over that they're gonna do their best, but then you watch them and it just looks like they're half-assing?

But then there's those guys that you watch and it's clear they would walk through the gates of Hell, tear out their own hearts and fight till the last breath in their body before giving up.  Losing is just not an option for them.  Every cell in their body cries out against it.

How hard your defense tries depends a lot on which of those two personas fits your leaders.

Our defense is led by Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis.

What do you think?

Antonio Brown is really good.  Ben is pretty crafty and can likely bounce off a sack and make a big play.

I don't think we shut them out but I do think they score less than 14.

Our best chance at a shutout is Minnesota.

DBs and special teamers have been getting martial arts training to help them deal with Brown's crane technique.

Pittsburgh's offense has a lot of talent.  They have speedy WR's and a pretty good RB in Leveon Bell.  Roethlisberger can escape pressure and make plays outside the pocket.  I don't see this being a high scoring game but this won't be the week the Panthers pitch a shutout.

Baltimore however....how satisfying would that be.  Steve Smith would sure as hell shut up.
