Watching him last week, I kinda wondered if maybe he wasn't fully acclimated to the Steelers system yet.

 

Saw #24 Ike Taylor (CB) yelling at him after his penalized hit on Smitty and after Baltimore scored the ensuing TD.

Prolly the latter on the hit, and the former on the TD. Both show he doesn't have their scheme down pat yet. Hope they can't correct it until Monday.

Would've loved to have kept Mitchell, but maybe at about half of what the Steelers gave him. When another team offers a player like Mitchell that type of contract, you do what Gettleman did. Shake his hand and wish him luck. No hard feelings. I would've left too if I was him. I think we did what was best for us and he did what was best for him. I don't blame either side for him no longer being here.

That's cool he and smith are kinda friends. Seems like he still wants to play for us with all his nice and accurate comments. Good guy. Loved his speech after that one game( sorry forget which one) about how we weren't scared and they have to play us. Dude certainly loves the game

Players like him thrive better with a good front 7.  Pittsburgh is not nearly as talented as we are.   The more time a QB has to move around the worse he'll be.  Big hitter but kinda hard to him them when they have already past you.

Mike Mitchell this weekend. Steve Smith the next. Julius Peppers a few weeks later. Captain Munnerlyn a few weeks after that.
