Can hardy withdraw his appeal?

I'm sure money wise he's fine. How likely is he to win against a female, a white female in a domestic abuse case? He lose, he's going to get suspended. By then the season is gone

This doesn't make sense. So you admit guilt even if you didn't do it? And no matter how "fine" you are money wise, 770k a week is still 770k a week.

There is no way to predict a jury trial....sometimes I even question what they mean at this point.

Who would have thought based on evidence OJ and Casey Anthoney would be innocent?

It all comes down to a random lottery of who your jury is. 12 different juries would probably result on 6 guilty and 6 no guilty verdicts in a wide amount of cases

I don't clearly remember the OJ trial outside of the verdict, so I can't comment there, but if you didn't know the jury was coming back with a "not guilty" in the Casey Anthoney trial then you didn't watch it.

If he is not playing or going to be here next year why let him do anything

I imagine he is going to train on his own time with the stregth and conditioning coach, and use the legal services of the Panthers. The presser leaned towards them bringing him back with a not guilty verdict after November trial. It won't be pushed to the offseason since he is no longer playing until it is resolved.

I get this weird feeling that the NFL, NFLPA, commissioner and the Panthers all believe Hardy is innocent and will win the trial.

Me too.

They called the cops because they seemed to become frightened by her antics. They knew she was acting erratic and things would turn out bad for a black professional athlete with money against a white woman.

Based on the evidence I do think he restrained her, which in some states is considered enough to be domestic violence, but as you look at all the facts available, it is beyond obvious what went on here. She even harassed the guy by calling like 20 times after the police said no contact.
