Have to be honest here.....If I had been accused of what Hardy has been accused of, I wouldn't have a job by the time the sun came up the next morning.

While it sucks it came to this, at this point, it's the best way to go for the Panthers.  While you can say we gave in to media/public out cry, and you'd be right, it's all about public perception, which leads to lost revenue and lost sponsorships (Minnesota, Nike leaving AP...).  Everyone involved in this situation has handled it poorly, and it starts with Hardy hanging out with coked up whores.  You've got to be smarter than that.  He's not really losing anything at this point as he's still getting paid.  The team and it's success more than likely be the ones that do suffer from all of these missteps, but there is a silver lining.  We still have a solid D that gets a head start on life without Hardy.  It's a shame we have to pay him 13 mil to do nothing.

Stop bashing JR, Dave, & Rivera. It's clear they wanted to let him play & have his day in court. This wasn't their decision. The NFL told them "save face & sideline him or we will do it for you."

If Hardy ends up being guilty a lot of it goes to him.  If he is not guilty, then a little goes to him for hanging out with a crazy woman.
