Jameis Winston suspended

I haven't followed the stories on Winston that closely (primarily because we don't need a quarterback) so I can't really comment with much authority, but I will say this: He's going to be coming into the NFL at a point where it's a really bad time to have any major red flags, especially those involving women.

Between now and whenever his Draft Day comes, he would be very wise to avoid adding anything else to that list of incidents above.

There's absolutely nothing to see here.  If people think he did anything that other egotistical qbs (or athletes in general) haven't done in the past, then I have some beach front property in Idaho I want to sell you.  The only thing that screwed him over as far as the "fug her right in the pussy" meme was concerned is that people put him on blast about it on social media.  And from what I could see the people were all humored by it because they know the original of the meme.

I don't follow memes that closely, so I have no idea what that's from.

But my take on it from the beginning is that this particular stunt falls under the "young and stupid" category that covers a lot of what college kids in general do.

The "young and stupid" excuse only works until you realize your 10-year old son or daughter knows that taking something from a store without paying for it is wrong... and you realize this is a college student twice your kid's age and claimed, "I forgot..."

Please, enough with the "young and stupid college kid" routine, it fails to hold water after 3 or 4 incidents...

I actually applied that description only to this most recent incident.

The others I'd have to look at more closely.

As anyone who ever served in the military would attest, if he was in the military and had he gone to NJP or Article 15 each time he fugged up like this, he'd be getting discharged (kicked out) under less than honorable conditions right about now.

And, yeah, this comment about sums it up- "I'll take "Old People Over-Reacting" for $200, Alex...." for a generation that just doesn't get it. He's the fugging Heisman Trophy winning QB of the NCAA National Championship football team... you don't think there are different standards for him over some OL kid at a D-3 school in Cowturd, USA? Get a clue. He's the biggest name in college football, the face of college football and he's acting like an irresponsible, immature child.
