Could We anyway Trade Peppers For Good Starting DT?

We All Know Peppers don't want to be here so if could find a team he inrested in thats has depth at DT could a trade happen?

You know you will go blind if you keep making dumb threads....don't you. :D

Everyone is a little testy here with questionable threads...we have become over-run with Butkus, etc... threads. The insantiy must stop.

There are no restrictions on trades of players designated with an exclusive or non-exclusive franchise tag. The differences between exclusive and non-exclusive tags relate to (1) the method of determining compensation and (2) the players ability to negotiate and sign with other teams in the case of a non-exclusive tag (which requires compensation to his current team in the form of two first-round draft picks if his current team declines to match the offer). I believe Peppers is subject to the non-exclusive tag.

Explain please. I read through the Franchise Section of the document and could not find anything.

The whole issue the offseason was that we could not negotiate a trade for Peppers because he had not yet signed his tender. How can him now singing his tender prevent us from trading him. I am missing something.
