Goodell needs to be fired

Would it be too much to ask for the guy making 40 million dollars a year to come out and explain what the fug is going on or hold a presser or something other than hiding ?

Doubt it would make a difference. The media is telling people what to think. You saw what they did to Cam with the Donkey Kong Suh crap, making it look like that's all he said the entire press conference. Or with Ron Rivera with his press conference, making him look unreasonable and like he only said one response the whole time. They'll take anything and sensationalize it.

It's the media we should be lashing out against, not Goodell. Everybody knew what happened in that damn elevator, but there wasn't enough of a shitstorm for the media's liking so they got the video and shoved it in your face and told you how much angrier you are now than you were before.

The NFL and teams just need to stop giving into the media/public demands. This has gone way overboard. Rice went from 2 games to suspended indefinitely and cut by the ravens. Peterson went from 1 game to suspended indefinitely. So im guessing every time someone screws up they will get shamed, given a small punishment, and when the public complains you give them an even worse punishment.

This thread is a great example of what is happening. Goodell didn't even do anything that bad but you people just complain and complain cuz you think he screwed up even when he tried to make it right.

Look out , NFL.

Attorney Gloria Allred late Wednesday morning announced plans to hold an afternoon press conference at a Cobb County hotel to discuss alleged abuse by an NFL player.

In an email announcing the 3 p.m. press conference at the Radisson Hotel Atlanta Northwest, Allred said she would be joined by “two individuals who allege that they or a family member were victims of violence and abuse by an NFL player.” She said those two would “discuss how the NFL and Commissioner Goodell failed them.”
