There's no precedence for any of this bullshit.  And the NFL won't set an example. That's why the media is able to have their way and force punishment on players.

Every team is reacting differently because there is no precedent for the league pissing itsself and crawling into the fetal position all because a few talking heads are saying mean things about it.  Since the league is doing absolutely nothing about anything the teams are having to take it upon themselves to decide not only what is legally right, but what is right within the confines of the CBA with the NFLPA, what is morally right, what is right for their team, etc.. 

 

If the media stated screaming over and over that death was the only acceptable punishment for all of these guys, would the teams be expected to start making plans to build execution gallows?  I know that is ridiculous, but at what point does the league and/or any of these teams stand up to all the ridiculous hyperbole that is being strewn about via the media airwaves?

Glad to see we have someone that was there to clear up the situation! Where were you when court was held? You could have really cleared up some of this for the rest of us.

I guess the best thing to do is put Hardy on the exempt list, and wait until his trial is resolved.  I wish the media wasn't so one sided when they report the Hardy case, but at this point it might be more beneficial for him to be put on this list, to kill all this one sided talk.  His court case may already be biased at this point with all the media talk.  I hope Hardy has great evidence on his side to present in court because as of now, he is guilty until proven innocent.

 

I believe the Panthers are good enough to win every game remaining on the schedule without Hardy.  Place him on the exempt list, and wait until after his trial is resolved.  I'm sure the players are getting tired of all the talk surrounding the Hardy case.  It's not fair to them not knowing if Hardy is going to play or not.

Maybe Hardy is guilty.  But he is guilty of a MISDEMEANOR.  NO INJURIES.  

 

Rice was charged with a FELONY!  McDonald was arrested for a FELONY!  Peterson charged with a FELONY!

Did you hear Hardy called 911 to his place?  How many domestic abusers do that, how rare is that?  It's been confirmed the person who "saw" Hardy beating Holder, was lying through her teeth in trial.  Did you know Holder was on coke that night?  Hardy wasn't even arrested that night, so it seems her injuries didn't match the report she gave. (Which she gave it later and not that night).  Both parties said Hardy's manager/friend held Holder down that night.  If Hardy was beating the mess out of her, why wasn't Hardy's friend charged as an accomplice?  There are so many holes in this girl story, it's almost laughable.  Laughing is what you would have been doing if you followed the trial the day it was held.  Hardy will probably be found innocent in November, and all of yall will probably crawl back into your holes, along with the media.
