Not condoning Hardy's actions, but honestly this is bullshit. I hope he and his reps refuse and I hope he hires a true high powered lawyer to sue the poo out of the league.

I don't think its right, but we should just man up and hold him out for the 6 games so that he can then come back and play regardless of what happens with his trial.  If the media thinks thats still too lenient then JR should hold a press conference and tell them all to fug themselves.

i'm not reading all that. but i disagree. greg hardy shouldn't play until all this is resolved. we've suffered enough PR nightmare. can you imagine if they found him guilty again and we've been letting him play all aong? after an initial conviction? heads would start to roll. i love greg but its not worth it for one player

hind sight, but hardy would have been better off eating the charge than taking it to superior court.

Of course, I don't think they could suspend him right now for domestic violence, if his case still haven't been resolved.  If we were to give him six games suspension, the NFLPA would be all up in our grill.  Who knows how that would effect the organization.  The only thing to do is to put him on this exempt list, and hope he's found innocent in November.

 

 

Don't suspend.  Deactivate for 6 games.  He still gets paid but media gets their blood and shuts up.   After 6 games, he plays again.

After court date, if guilty, fine him 6 game checks.   If not guilty, apologize and give a big fug you to media for forcing their hand.

You and I both know that can't happen. The media in this country is driven by a certain narrative. When they latch onto something they will keep it going until they are given what they want.
