Personally I want to keep updated on the Hardy situation.  It is only the stupid threads that bother me, like the one's that complain about Greg Hardy threads while making a new one.

 

Plenty of other stuff to do, easy to skip over the Hardy threads if you are "sick" of them.

This team is going to be ok regardless of whether Hardy plays or not.  Sure the cap $ wasted on non-productive time on the roster are going to hurt but what's done is done.

you people wanna whine about what the media says but you keep perpetuating their babble when you keep tuning in to get the latest sliver of news from highly acclaimed legal experts like mike greenberg. youre then proceeding to fuss about it on the internet and it's only giving espn what it's actually after: a platform to show to the world how white knight and noble they are. you think the people at espn actually care about these things?

ive changed the channel every day the past week whenever they start rambling on about whatever off the field issue they want to feign indignation for. if all you people would stop tuning in, they'd be forced to shut up about it. i guarantee you their ratings mean more to them than their proclaimed "morals."

the problem in the Hardy case is that WE as fans have not spoken up enough and allowed the media to run Hardy into the ground and group his situation with the rice and Peterson situation (which are completely different)...

This is gonna expose Hardy as a player. He's seriously not that great. Charles Johnson is so much better it isn't even funny. He's the one that gets double teams, then once Lotulelei and Short were drafted it took even more pressure off. Hardy benefited greatly from the players around him. Not to mention, literally half of his production came in 2-3 games against the worst tackles in the league. Addison having 2.5 sacks last week was just a small sign of that. Whoever they throw out there is gonna succeed.

My quotes were based purely off what would be best in the short term for the team by getting him on the field this season and letting this entire situation die down.

i don't agree. Hardy gets a ton of pressure even when he doesn't get sacks. It's just that when he can beat a player, he absolutely dominates them on every play. He makes the offense adjust for him in those scenarios or he'll get a sack/tackle in the backfield on every play. Plus he's a very good pass rushing DT.
