Listening to the R.G today he did mention that Hardy was a different circumstance and they where still evaluating. Don't know exactly what he meant by that....possibly the different legal circumstances here in NC.

 No Harvard degree. The verdict is set aside, not nullified, which was my point. The trial to take place in order to completely extinguish the bench trial verdict. Only 5% of bench trials are appealed and NC is one of the few states where this arrangement can take place.

actually it is nullified the moment hardy appealed to superior court.  

 

anyway, you are playing semantics now.

 

if the bench trial cannot even be brought up, by law, in the superior court trial, then it might as well have never happened.  i mean nobody can go back and make past events not occur, but this new trial is as close to that as you are going to get.    

 

 

my point was to put you on blast for not knowing what you are talking about in regards to hardy being a convict and your "poof fantasy" comment.

I would love to see someone write an article about all the publications that have committed libel by claiming Hardy is convicted and/or guilty. Starting with slamming The Daily Show just to get the public aware then a list of all the other major publications.

I think you lost your argument, he is considered not guilty in the eyes of the law. If his conviction was kept till the jury trial then the sentence she gave would have to be served by hardy right now. It's not because it no longer exists.

Again, just like Hardy's case, this judge may or may not be guilty of some things she is accusing him of. Can't say I'd blame people though for not voting for the guy during the election either. sometimes you need to recognize who you're involving yourself with may not be the best decision and as of now that's the only thing I can say Hardy is guilt of at the moment until his trial.

Funny thing is, the media didnt even mention Hope Solo, goalie for the womens national team playing on thursday night for our country. She is accused of domestic violence against her sister and 17 year old nephew. But ESPN makes no mention of that.
