The Greg Hardy thread....for everything Hardy related

We as fans should boycott the Panthers for making a mockery of our legal system.

This move demonstrates that Jerry Richardson and the NFL care more about the bottom line than individual rights.  The main motive behind this move is not because Greg Hardy is a bad man.  Instead, the NFL must protect it's advertisers.

It's not the Panthers fault.

I watch them a lot, they are funny.  But they were just last week up to yesterday being all like:

You are going to see a lot of back sliding as my grandmother used to say.   Once people step down off of their soapbox they are going to realize how messed up this is.  Going forward when that player, right before a big game gets arrested you are really going to see it hit the fan.  By not letting the legal process play out any legal arrest is the same as being guilty.   You get punished (even if you are getting paid) by not playing.

This is a contract year for Greg Hardy.  This is not only affecting this year, it's affecting his future earnings.  RR and Jerry buckling is a travesty imo.   Even if Greg Hardy is guilty of every thing said, it should not happen like this.  It's a violation of his rights.

That's why it's always best not to make decisions while angry.  Once the fervor dies down, and a lot of people think about this, its going to be too late.  It's easy to give up freedom, its a bitch to take it back.

/steps off soapbox.

Really people the team and franchise is bigger than 1 player. This distraction of being ask "Is he going to play or not" would have been a big distraction for the team. After today the player shouldn't have to answer any questions about this. This was for the good of the team. Only the NFL can impose this exemption. It took the Panthers off the hook.
