The Greg Hardy thread....for everything Hardy related

so it appears pretty possible Hardy will be placed on leave with full pay until his criminal trial is resolved. The jury trial is scheduled for mid - November but his attorney said we won't know when it is until the court's master schedule is published. His attorney said that most likely Hardy's jury trial won't be until next year, as there are a lot of people with cases scheduled before his that have been patiently waiting for their day in court

since the Hardy case is so significant on a national level, and is costing a major local business (the Panthers) a million each week in paid leave for Hardy, doesn't it seem like a good idea for the court to move Hardy's case up to the front and hear it in November (or earlier) so we can get this all resolved one way or the other as soon as possible?

Per league source, #Panthers and #NFL have discussed other options in Greg Hardy case besides exempt list.

I saw him getting in his car and he had that whatever look.... hard to read

Shrug, live and learn.  Don't forget.  I hope this gives the team some respite and they can focus on football.  But it would be a shame to brush aside how fugged this is.  Like Watergate fugged.  And once we beat the Steelers ass next week nobody will care about Greg Hardy in the MSM.

I can assure you, the players we draft from this point on will be squeaky cleam.Hardy had a rep coming out of being dicey.Also stay away from crazy bar maids with coke habits..lessons to be learned.
