Charlotte Independence Thread

That is pretty much the only viable option that I can think of.

Means no alcohol though.

Also assuming it means they're playing on UNC CHarlotte's soccer field. The football field is artificial turf and I don't believe it i the kind of turf that is FIFA approved or soccer.

That's a shame because that's a big missing area of extra revenue for the team. Plus lets be honest, it also sets a tone for fans for home field.

I remember going to memorial field back when North Neck and Vance were "big rivals" in football in early 2000. Its a shame that a public owned field couldn't get funding sooner, Charlotte has missed alot of opportunity to get it fixed up and updated. I'm sure they are hesitant because if they invest into this field and the team folds what would go there? Charlotte Hounds doesnt bring anywhere near what they would need.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 23, 2015) — The Charlotte Independence today announced its season-ticket pricing plans and benefits for the 2015 USL season. There will be seven (7) different packages available, ranging in price from as low as $7.00 per game up to $75 per game in our new stadium’s exclusive VIP club area.

Queen City Soccer Club, LLC — which owns and operates the Independence — has signed a contract with Nussli Group to build a temporary, soccer-specific stadium at Ramblewood Soccer Complex in Charlotte. Nussli Group estimates the new facility will be ready by early May.

so supporters are standing room only?  gonna be interesting to see how that works.

Looks that way. Most European supporters ends used to be standing room only. Liverpool supporters are sadly all too familiar with the consequences of that.

This is USL, so obviously nothing like that will happen.
