Welcome to the Huddle.

Chances are, you're here to talk about Michael Vick. That you've only just now sought out and signed up to a Panthers forum clearly shows how little a fan you are of our team and how ignorant you are of the Panthers as a whole. You are bandwagoners -- one-man fans. Where were you this offseason, when we were discussing things like the rookies, the new coaching staff, or the upcoming season?

If you are that much of a fan of Michael Vick, then feel free to hop off of the Panthers bandwagon and onto that of whichever team ends up signing him. But it will not be the Carolina Panthers.

Feel free to return to the Huddle the next time the Panthers do not explicitly turn down the leader of a dogfighting ring, or a quarterback who could never really play quarterback.

Really a dumb post. I joined during this crazy time of everyone talking about Vick but I didn't find this site until the Vick stuff came up. I am glad i found a good Panthers site finally like I am a long time member on BobcatsPlanet. And how dare you call out people for joining the site to talk about Vick and saying they are not true Panthers fans. Thats just wrong. We are all fans of this team, and if someone wants to talk about why or why they dont think Vick should play here, they should be able to do it without people going at them. It should be a discussion because our team has yet to say they will not sign vick.

Second, if you're a "true" panther fan then the email obviously didn't apply to you. He was referring to the masses that will show up here only because of Vick, just as the bozos that inexplicably worship Joey Harrington. They usually come in droves and hoards, make the place suck with their nuthugging loyalty to one player, who in most cases sucks.

However, we're glad you found use, perhaps you'll be seen as the silver lining that emerges from all this Vick nonsense.

Micheal Vick has done his time in jail and deserves the chance to play in the NFL. As far as being a QB, the last time I checked he had a winning record against Carolina!

Welcome. Some ground rules:

1. Don't question Fox.

2. Don't question Delhomme.

3. Don't talk about Vick.

1 is allll about injuries. Fox is a small God unless injuries occur. 2 will usually result in a "but.. but.. but.. 2003!" type of response and usually something about gunslingers, heart, and Favre. 3 has more to do with the fact that he beat our ass constantly and less about the actual dog fighting thing. Oh, and that he was a Falcon.

Careful, lest people over the internet downgrade your fan status.

Welcome to the forum. As JOAT has pointed out, if you're not here solely to talk about Vick, then this post doesn't really apply to you. It seems I've struck a nerve, though.

The truth of the matter is there's much more to the Panthers than the recent rumor of Michael Vick joining the team. I'm not speaking about you here, but I find it hard to believe that Panthers fans had nothing to discuss all offseason, nor do I think anyone would have trouble finding this forum, the Web's most popular Panthers message board.

I also want to make it clear that Vick discussion is perfectly fine. What I really get tired of, however, is when these people join ONLY to post about Vick. These posts usually don't consist of anything more than "The Panthers should pick up Vick, Delhomme sucks." And to top it all off, these posters are creating new, pointless threads when their poor excuses for comments should go in the existing Butkus threads, if anywhere.

Really man, I welcome all new members. It's just frustrating when that's all people are joining to talk about. If you're not one of these posters (and it sounds like you're not) then I'm glad you're here.
