They are all done. Anheuser Busch is "not satisfied" with NFL response so far. We're talking potential loss of big money now, bigger than any player or even any team.

This is similar to the Roethlisberger incident in the past. He was suspended based on allegations. We believe he is guilty. But, I'm sure the Steelers fan base was like ours, some supported him and wanted to wait until the court system played itself out (which I am in favor of for abuse accusations). He was never actually tried on anything and still got a 4 game suspension. Not saying its fair but these players are supposed to hold themselves to a higher standard than the general public.

Since when? Based on what? Just because they make more money than most of us? That's a you-problem, not a me-problem.

 

The day I set the bar that high for a professional athlete is the day I swear off sports altogether, lol.

When has the NFL ever cared about the fans.  When your biggest sponsor want results they get them. Then you have to tv companies mad because they cant collect on their revenue from the Biggest Sponsor.

we all have to remember .. these are young men with a LOT of money. Most were only in college to play football .. an education didnt matter.

 

Some young adults do make bad decisions the money just adds to it. It does bring out the gold diggers.

It sounds like Hardy saw a bad situation and tried to remove himself from it ahead of time, you cant knock someone for doin that. People that actually want to better themselves do it everyday.

2. Addison played well but it wasn't until Stafford was dropping further back for deeper passes.

3. With Addison we are good with Hardy we are special.

4. And most importantly this is a family and J.R. is NOT cutting ties with Hardy.

i also am positive he'll be found not guilty and if the panthers fold to the media driven pressure it'll be a big mistake. he might not be back anyway but not having his back when he's innocent and he's def gone

That's what the gist of their player conduct policy is, that's what I was getting at. Like people have pointed out, statistically, there isn't rampant abuse problems, or other criminal problems, in the league. I was just saying, the team or league had the ability to suspend him even if just for one game. If that had been done back in July, we wouldn't have had any of this happen, Hardy would be good to go for the rest of the season, no one would be complaining about "why is he still playing." At this point, why even fight it any longer, we've already screwed up as a franchise in the eyes of the majority of the country.

I just don't see how they let him play on prime time national TV after sitting him against the Lions. If he plays anytime soon, it won't be this week.
