This guy goes from a nobody to being a Panther Huddle favorite over the course of an hour.

Unbiased Opinion: Scrub PS body

Biased/Huddle Opinion: Next year's starter.

anybody who follows college football knows Seastrunk is actually a very legit young prospect. He just turned 23 in July

compare him to fellow Big 12 alum Darren Sproles out of college:

Sproles: projected 4th R, drafted 4th R

Seastrunk: projected 4th R, drafted early 6th R

Sproles: 4.47 forty at combine at 5-06/187

Seastrunk: 4.46 forty at combine at 5-10/201, ran a 4.37 forty at his Pro Day on 3/19/14

Sproles: 33 inch vertical, 8'09" broad jump

Seastrunk: 41 1/2 vertical, 11'02" broad jump

Sproles: 3-Cone Drill: 6.96

Seastrunk: 3-Cone Drill: 6.81

Sproles rushing in college

senior 2004 - 1,318 yds (5.4 ypc), 11 TD

junior 2003 - 6.5 ypc

soph 2002 - 6.2 ypc

Seastrunk rushing in college:

junior 2013 - 1,177 yds (7.45 ypc) 11 TD

soph 2012 - 1,012 yds (7.73 ypc) 7 TD

I get that, I'm just saying I'm more excited over this than I was Gaffney being drafted. This helps take the sting off of losing him a bit.

was just pointing out Seastrunk was more valued than Gaffney during the draft. Hard to compare the two though as Gaffney is a poor-mans power back prospect while Seastrunk is a pretty elite Darren Sproles-type-back prospect. Seastrunk is like a cross between Gaffney and Philly Brown and might be as good as both of them combined (and I really like Philly Brown and have been hyping him ever since we got him)

Keep in mind Sproles was primarily used as a returner his first 3 years in the NFL (ages 22-24). It wasn't until Sproles was 25 in his 4th NFL season before the Chargers started figuring out how to use him on offense. Seastrunk just turned 23 in July

How does age factor into this? Are you saying seastrunk won't be good until he is 25 or we wouldn't know how to properly use him until then?
