When a PS player goes to another teams 53, he has to stay there for 3 weeks minimum. Also no offer matching.

So someone could come in and take Hill right now and we couldn't do anything unless we sign him beforehand.

He could decline to sign elsewhere.  He does have a choice.

 

Granted, not many guys do that.  Who would turn down a chance to be on an active roster for a spot on a practice squad?

I read that Cam Bradford had graded out at .7.6 after playing the first two games of the season,the third lowest grade among all NFL tackles.

Obviously the jags offensive line sucks with the sacks gave up and how bad Gerhart has done.

Last year they wouldn't have taken a WR off our active roster, except Smitty and maybe Ginn.

I can't dispute that, but I do find it hard to believe.

 

There's gotta be another coaching staff in the NFL that believes they could turn him around just enough to be effective.
